Brandon Brock

Coach Brock has spent the last 7 years coaching all over Canada; from high school basketball in his hometown of Richmond, BC to assistant coaching roles with both the University of Waterloo and now the University of Alberta.

Brandon received his undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo where he spent 3 years as an assistant coach helping to develop the Warriors’ young core talent. During that time, he also coached a club basketball team in Kitchener to multiple top 10 rankings, as well as helped to win a Bronze Medal at the Ontario Summer Games in 2016. While in Ontario, Brandon also spent time working at Canada Basketball in their Domestic Development Department, helping to develop national youth basketball curriculum.

Currently, Brandon is working towards his Masters of Coaching at the University of Alberta while also coaching alongside Baker Elite Clinic coaches, Jordan Baker and Kent Johnson, with the Golden Bears. This summer, Brandon will be traveling to the Canada Basketball National Championships as an Assistant Coach with U15 Boys – Team Alberta, coaching a U17 Grads club team, as well as working as Assistant Coach/Video Coordinator for the Edmonton Stingers.

Coach Brock worked with Jordan Baker as an assistant coach with the University of Alberta Golden Bears in 2018-19. He and Coach Baker are also working together this summer as part of the Edmonton Stingers.
