Jordan Baker

Born and raised in Edmonton, Jordan Baker is the definition of homegrown talent. He played his high school basketball under the tutelage of George Hoyt at Harry Ainlay before joining the University of Alberta Golden Bears in 2009. From there, Baker proceeded to stockpile accolades. He was named to the CIS All-Rookie Team in 2009-10, and to the CIS All-Canadian First Team in both 2011-12 and 2013-14. By the time his career with U of A was over, Baker was the all-time leading scorer in Golden Bears Basketball history. He also remains the current all-time leader in career rebounds, assists, steals, and minutes played at the U of A.

Coach Baker then spent 3 years playing professional basketball overseas, making stops in Germany, Japan, and Portugal. During that time he also played with the Canadian National Team, and is now continuing to compete internationally for Team Saskatoon in FIBA 3X3.  He lives in Edmonton and is currently working as an assistant coach with the Golden Bears Basketball program. Jordan Baker founded the Baker Elite Clinic clinic in 2015, and also organizes and coordinates a number of youth basketball initiatives in the city.
